Participated in VIVA TECHNOLOGY 2024, held in France
I participated in VivaTech 2024, an international technology and startup exhibition and conference held in Paris.
Women’s Startup Lab, led by Ari Horie, was invited by VivaTech, and I was fortunate to attend as well.
During the event, I listened to presentations by:
・Meredith Whittaker of Signal,
・Dr. Werner Vogels, CTO of Amazon, and
・Audrey Tang, former Digital Minister of Taiwan.
Key takeaways included:
・Amazon’s large-scale initiatives,
・Signal’s emphasis on the importance of privacy and ethics, and
・Audrey Tang’s focus on data transparency and leaving no one behind.
Audrey’s philosophy is that technology is a key tool for solving social issues. She aims to use technology to increase government transparency and efficiency, and to build trust between citizens and the government.
Similarly, The goal of the Megumi Financial Method is to use its approach to increase transparency and efficiency of financial figures and to build trust between employees and management.
By visualizing accounting, people at all levels of a company can understand it better, which dramatically improves internal communication and ensures that no employee is left behind.
