Special class on The Megumi Financial Method™ at Showa Daiichi Gakuen High School
FINANCIAL METHOD™
CASE
EXAMPLES
I gave a special class to second-year high school students on the theme of The Mechanics of Business and Money, utilizing The Megumi Financial Method™.
We studied the differences between industries, how much the balloon (assets) inflates, and the balance with expenses by comparing the BS (Balance Sheets) and PL (Profit and Loss Statements) of a YouTuber, a supermarket, and a bakery.
The participating students began to view familiar things from a business perspective, asking, “What does our school’s BS look like?,” “The schoolyard is impressive, so fixed assets must be high,” and “How much revenue is needed?” They also gained a realistic perspective, such as “It’s hard to monetize as a YouTuber, so maybe it’s good as a side gig.”
This kind of sense becomes the foundation for thinking, “What about my own company?” and “How does my job contribute to profit?” when they enter the workforce. No matter what path they choose or what job they take, having a business sense will change their daily actions.
Education is an investment in the future. Seeing the shining eyes of the students clarified my dream of incorporating The Megumi Financial Method™ into compulsory education.
To everyone at Showa Daiichi Gakuen High School, thank you very much for this valuable opportunity.
